Coutts Community School

About Us

Coutts Community School is a public school with grades kindergarten to eight.  Coutts is a border town situated on the Alberta/Montana border.  At CCS, our students receive personal attention due to our low student to teacher ratio.  Our teachers acknowledge and nurture the individual learning styles and specific strengths of each child, which enhances self-esteem and confidence.  A 4 day week was implemented for 2006-2007and it seems to be very popular with staff and students alike.

Located within the school is a Community Library which is part of the Chinook Arch Library System.   A Stay and Play Program for parents and children aged birth to 6 years takes place at the school every Monday morning.  A pre-kindergarten program runs every Tuesday and Thursday.
